Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford is committed to furthering diversity, equity and inclusion because all young people deserve the right to be themselves, to feel a sense of belonging, and to have access to opportunities that support their great future.
The Early Learning Center at the Asylum Hill Boys & Girls Club is a naeyc accredited early learning program which provides a social learning environment that nurtures and supports Pre-K students as they actively explore language, mathematics and science.
We work with families to meet the individual needs of each child and our staff provide a holistic approach that encourages parents to be actively involved in their children’s educational journey every step of the way.
Students participate in instructional programs that develop their oral and written communication skills through art, music, drama, hands-on science activities, children’s literature and technology. The curriculum is aligned with the Common Core of State Standards (CCSS), the Preschool Assessment Framework, the Formative Assessments, and the Connecticut State Department of Education Preschool Standards.
